What is UrHype?
UrHype is an exciting new website community where people can share their unique skills, expertise and knowledge to get stuff done for quick bucks!
Capitalising on a growing trend of mico-employment, the website is based on matching people with marketable skills / services to those who need them. Featuring a user-friendly platform and secure messaging system, Members can post jobs that they are willing to do for any fixed price.
Members offer to provide services or perform specific tasks, within certain time scales, for a fixed price. Once the order has been completed, the Seller gets paid – it’s that simple!
It's free to join and list Jobs on UrHype.
How it works (in a nutshell!)
- Registration is free but only registered users can buy and sell on UrHype.
- All Jobs are offered for any fixed price unlike Fiverr, which limit to only $5.
- Buyers pay UrHype for orders in advance.
- UrHype only pays Sellers once an order is complete.
Who can list Jobs on UrHype?
Anyone can post Jobs to UrHype. You might be a freelancer, micro or small business owner, stay at home mum or dad, or perhaps a student. As long as you can do something that you think others will buy, join up and get posting today.
Posting a Job is easy – just sign in to your account and follow the instructions. You will be able to write compelling sales copy for your Job as well as choose the cost and how long it will take you to deliver it to the Buyer. You can also load pictures to help you sell more. You can even load a video link to the site via YouTube to help boost sales.
How much money will I make from each sale?
UrHype is free to join and to list Jobs on. No commission unlike Fiverr, we give you a full cut of the fee less paypal transaction fee for every time you make a successful sale. We use our own money to keep the lights on, employ a small number of very clever people and promote the site so our Members get even more orders!
When I post a Job, how long will it stay active for?
Currently, all Hypes that are posted by our Members remain on the site until you decide to delete or suspend them.
How many Jobs can I post at any one time?
Currently we allow each Member to post 20 Jobs at any one time to the site.
Why is my Job not appearing?
Jobs that are posted appear on the site immediately both within the main section and also under the relevant category heading. We constantly monitor Job postings and remove unsuitable listings. We recommend that once you have posted a Job you refresh your browser to ensure that it is live on the site. If you are having problems posting a Job, please contact our customer service team.
Can I set-up a Job and publish it at a later date?
Absolutely, you can set up a Job at anytime and save it for later use. Saving your Job is simple, just click on the “Like” button when you have put it together and your Job will be saved for later use. To retrieve you Job at anytime, login and go to the link called ‘Stuff I Like’. From here you will be able to post your Job to the live site.
How can I sell more of my Jobs?
- Always post your Job to Facebook / Twitter and share with your friends.
- Always use relevant and high quality images to promote your Job.
- Make sure that the copy you use to sell your Job is clear and compelling – why should people buy from you?
- Make sure you complete the field ‘instructions to Buyer’ when posting a Job.
How can I get my Job listing put in to the ‘Showcase’?
We review the site on a daily basis and look at the number of orders that are being placed for each Job. Our editorial team then makes the decision which Jobs to put in our 'Showcase'. If you feel that your Job listing should be showcased, contact our customer service team.
How do I buy a Job?
You need to be a Member to buy Jobs through Quickenbucks, but the good news is that this is free (yippee!) and very easy to do (double yippee!). Once you have joined, just select the Job you want to buy, click on the relevant button and enter your payment details (either credit card or via your Paypal account) and you’re done. We will then send you an email with further instructions. All you have to do is follow these, communicate with the Seller through our secure messaging platform and take deliver of your order. Once you’re happy with it, we will release payment to the Seller – oh yes it’s that easy.
What happens if the deal I purchase isn't what I expected?
If for any reason you are unhappy with what the Seller delivers to you we suggest you communicate directly with them to find an appropriate solution. If the solution can't be reached by both parties please contact our customer support team and we will do our best to help.
There is a ‘Help Wanted’ section – how does this work?
If you have a need for a service that is not listed on UrHype, just log in to your Member account and leave a help wanted ad in the space provided. Members who can meet your needs will then be in contact with you via our messaging platform.
Is UrHype safe to buy and sell through?
It sure is. All of our sales are handled by Paypal – even credit card payments. We don’t store or see any of your payment information. To find out more about Paypal payment security please visit www.paypal.com
Do I need a Paypal account?
If you are going to Sell via the site you will need a Paypal account. We will credit your UrHype account with the proceeds of each sale you make and you can then withdraw these funds whenever you like. However, to withdraw your funds you will need to have a valid Paypal account. We currently do not offer any other means by which to withdraw the revenue you make from the site.
What about Paypal fees?
We don’t charge you to withdraw your money from UrHype to your Paypal account but Paypal do have fees which they charge for withdrawing money. These amount to between 2-3% of the total being withdrawn. To find out more about Paypal fees, please visit their website.
Is there a minimum account balance I need before I can withdraw the money I have made?
Absolutely not! Once your order has been marked as completed, you have access to all of your money within 48hrs. This is our payment guarantee and just one of the reasons that more people use us.
When I make a sale and deliver my Job, why can’t I access my money straight away?
To protect all the users of UrHype and us from fraudulent activity, revenues cannot be withdrawn from Member accounts for a period of 48 hours after an order has been completed. You can be assured of immediate access to your funds once this time period has expired.
I cannot see an automatic Paypal refund after cancelling a Job order?
In accordance with our Terms of Service, all cancelled order refunds are credited to your UrHype Membership account (this can be seen under the My Shopping section). Refunds can then be used for buying Jobs from other Sellers on the site. If you don't intend to use your UrHype Membership account again, we can arrange for refunds to be returned to you and the account closed.
